SUB BASE GROTON BUS TRIP UPDATE

The Groton Trip on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004 has been updated to include a subschool graduation ceremony, a meal at the base mess hall, a tour of the Submarine Force / Nautilus Museum, a visit to the National Submarine Memorial East & Dinner at the Groton Base Club House.  The starting and ending time of the trip has been changed. The trip starts at 5:00 AM and returns to Saratoga at 9:30 PM.  Please note-There will be only one bus for this trip and there is a limit of 40-50 people.

   The schedule of the day is as follows:

1.     The bus picks up at the Saratoga Hotels between 5:15 and 5:30 AM and arrives at Sub Base no later than 9:00 AM

2.     Participate in Subschool graduation at 9:30 AM

3.     Subschool tours, lunch at the galley, visit Nautilus / Submarine Force Museum.

4.     Visit the National Submarine Memorial East.

5.     Stop at Groton Base Club House for a late lunch/dinner before heading home.  The cost of this meal will be $6.00 per person with a cash bar.  

BUS LPO CTM2 HARTNAGEL will collect $10.00 cash from everyone as they board the bus and will then pay for the groups lunch and dinner.
